Sorry, I could not pass this one. David Pescovitz at BoingBoing.net has published the link to the trailer of the movie adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s A Scanner Darkly. The director is Richard Linklater, the guy who directed Waking Life.
From the trailer it seems an awesome sci-fi animation movie. This summer, let’s go all together to watch the movie.

I will be there. Waking Life and rotoscoping actually figure prominently in my dissertation, and I hope to finish before Scanner Darkly comes out, partly so I don’t have to deal with it, and partly so I can say “look how timely I am”. Just finished the book a few days ago, too.

Hi Anotella,
I found the link to your on phillywriters. I’m one of the founding members of that site.
Great blog! It turns out we have a lot in common. I don’t have a degree in Psychology, but I am a usability designer/software engineer. I designed the phillywriters site.
I considered getting an advanced degree in either Heuristics or in Psychology. For awhile I thought about becoming a clinician, but for now, I’m sticking to my day job, my night hobby of creative writing, and my weekend hobby of photography.
I’ll have to browse through your usability posts when I have more time. And if you ever have any advice or ideas for phillywriters, let us know.
Thanks for stopping by,
Karin.

All this time, and I never knew you liked science fiction.
